Wellbeing & Self Care Workshops 2026

  • Rebecca Brewin

    Scaravelli Inspired Yoga

Movement in gravity using yoga and touch.

Finding ground, breath and wave. A Scaravelli-inspired Yoga workshop where we will explore inhabiting our bones and flesh through posture, movement and touch. This will include working together in pairs or threes to inspire greater depth of understanding of the body in gravity.

Rebecca is a movement practitioner, artist and poet. She is a yoga teacher in the approach of Vanda Scaravelli, which she combines with her writing and contemplative practice. She lives between Frome in Somerset, in a wooden wagon which she built with a friend during the Covid lock downs, and a meditation community in France where she is part of an evolving embodiment programme and has helped to set up a programme for volunteers to work there and experience contemplative living.

  • Lisa Morris

Hatha Yoga - Foundations & Flow

Arriving in the day: easeful, spacious yoga

Lisa (she/her) is a yoga teacher & embodied therapist facilitating group and individual movement sessions in Brighton, UK. She works with an adapted model of Hatha Yoga, drawing with respect from its rich lineage to tailor for each group, individual and moment. She focuses on creating non-intimidating, lightly-held spaces to be with the body and with the breath, building awareness, autonomy and insight for how we then choose to show up 'off the mat'.

  • Justin Philpott

    Thai Massage Workshop

An intuitive flow of slow stretches and deep (but not painful) pressure, given through the hands, elbows, feet, and knees with sensitively applied bodyweight. This combines acupressure, rhythmical movement, fascial work, and other techniques, all offered with an intuitive, listening touch.

Beyond technique, the practice is a moving meditation, with the intention to offer a clear space that invites you to enter gentle, deep and perhaps profound states of rest, self-healing, and insight.

I work on the floor on a king-size futon, and receivers remain fully clothed.

Justin began his journey with Thai massage in 2006 through the fusion practice of AcroYoga. He started formal study of Thai massage in 2007 and continued to study with a variety of teachers in Europe and Thailand, mainly in the Sunshine Network tradition.

He runs "Moving Stillness - School of Somatics," offering private sessions, private tuition, workshops, and courses in Thai massage, and also workshops in Contact Improvisation.

  • Bela Emerson

    Cosy Consensual Cuddles

A gently held and facilitated space for consensual, platonic touch, supporting wellbeing, relaxation, nervous system regulation, and a sense of belonging. Participants are guided to give and receive touch in a way that feels safe, inclusive, and nourishing.

Within this structured environment, you’ll practice expressing your needs and communicating boundaries with clarity and kindness, helping build confidence and connection in a respectful setting.

This session is facilitated by Bela, a CPI-certified cuddle therapist.

  • Rachana Sequoia

From Movement to Stillness : Nervous System Soothing Jam

A gentle, heart-centered journey into conscious, consensual touch and co-regulation. We will begin with a slow descent from movement into rest and regulation. We begin by listening to our own bodies, - our yes our no, then gradually explore connection with others - allowing touch and closeness to arise only when it feels genuinely resourced and welcome.

This is a trauma-informed, platonic cuddle experience centered on care, nervous system regulation, consent as an embodied living practice and nourishing connection. No cuddle experience is required - only curiosity and respect for yourself and others.

  • Benjamin Lindh Medin

    The Listening Body

I'd like to share a practice centred around cultivating trust in our bodies and in our natural wisdom through deep somatic listening.

One aspect of this practice is based on spontaneous movement, a practice deeply rooted in Qi Gong, but which also exists in many other cultures of movement.

Essentially it's learning how to follow our bodies impulses, which can help release tensions, giving ease in the body and help us connect to subtleties of our consciousness.

By incorporating energy work, such as Qi Gong and meditation, we unite our physical and energetic bodies, fostering deeper wisdom, love, vitality, and imagination

Benjamin studied dance for the past 20 years, mainly within Contemporary dance, improvisation and CI. Qi gong and other internal martial arts emerged over 10 years ago beginning with Tai Chi.

He has taught workshops and retreats of various kinds for many years within traditional Qigong as well as contemporary dance and CI. He also regularly teaches workshops and classes here and there, mainly in Sweden.

  • Mike Carney

    Fascial Maneuvers

A hands-on exploration of fascial maneuvers, designed to reduce stress, release trauma, and unwind tension. This class is open to all levels and offers a supportive space to experience the power of fascial maneuvers.

I will blend guided instruction with hands-on assistance, and partner work — whether new to fascial maneuvers or looking to refine your understanding, you’ll walk away with practical tools and embodied insights.

Four years of practice and experience, completing on line courses and live training in Mexico with the founders of this methodology. I have held multiple classes, workshops, and festival events (including Emerging Hearts x). Ranging from individual work to groups of over 100.

  • Kat Piotrowska

    Full Body Mobility Session

A calm, beginner-friendly morning session to gently wake up the body and prepare you for a full day of dancing.

We’ll move through each joint step by step using simple, accessible movements to build mobility and awareness in the body. We will focus on helping your body feel more supported and ready, lubricating your joints and greatly lowering the risk of strain or injury during the day.

You’ll learn a range of movements for different parts of the body that you can later combine into your own short 5–15 minute warm-up routine before classes, jams, or your own physical practice.

Kat Shakti is an EFT practitioner, yoga and movement teacher, and body-acceptance coach. She helps women build a safer, more supportive relationship with their bodies through mobility, nervous system regulation, and cycle awareness. Her sessions are simple, practical, and beginner-friendly, giving tools you can immediately apply in dance and daily life.

  • Sophie Marsh

    Somatic Sensory Resourcing Space

Sometimes moving and sharing touch with other bodies can stir up feelings for us, or leave us feeling overstimulated and disoriented.

Through somatic and embodied practice, you will be guided to radically follow your body’s unique wisdom and to orient towards what feels nourishing, safe, and resourcing for you.

Sophie is an artist, writer and somatic explorer who loves discovering and researching the connection between embodiment and neurodiversity. She holds group and 1:1 spaces supporting people to recover their body’s instinctual intelligence and feel the nourishment of being somatically connected.
