    Dance in the Landscape

Through our bodies, we experience the landscape around us. Connect, listen & move in response to external textures, sounds & senses. Solo practice & group work through tasks & scores will inform our dances & offer new creative possibilities.

I am a dancer, maker and bodyworker. I love to co-create with others and am happiest in group improvisation, preferably out in the landscape. My passion is in bringing people together and feeling the magic of co-creation and kinaesthetic communication. I love the truth which emerges when we discover those infinite possibilities within us and the connections which occur between us.

    Moving by Nature

Come outside and re-explore the wordless dance you’re part of. We'll give weight, and attention, to the living things around us. We'll recognise forms and motions around and within us. We'll lay a foundation of nature connection to support us throughout the camp.

John Kishore is passionate about supporting cultures of honesty, leadership and care. His teaching is driven by 'love-in-action': putting warm feelings into concrete, supportive action. John trained as a dancer and works in early-years education. The platform where he shares his practice is called M-Lab: Mindful Movement Learning.

    Kinaesthetic Walks

In this lab, we will explore walking as an act of listening, as a time of silent exploration, allowing a deeper sense of directionality and attention to emerge, reconnecting to our inner ‘daimon’, opening a space of dialogue with the outer space through its symbolic, multilayered meaning. Awakening the innate wisdom of our bodies. After the walk, we will engage in a short practice of resonance of the experience through moving, drawing, and sounding as a collective ritual.

Rebecca Marta D'Andrea is a movement artist. Her research explores improvisation and creativity as forms of dialogue to discover the intersections that intertwine perception, reality and imagination and the sense of community. Born in the Artistic Community of Bussana Vecchia in 1983, she graduated in Choreography at Dartington College of Arts (UK) in 2006, furthering her studies at SNDO Amsterdam(NL), Milon Mela Theater House in India (2009) in Berlin with ( P.O.R.C.H Ponderosa 2012) and obtaining a Masters in Creative Practices at the Trinity Laban and Independent Dance in 2016 with the support of the Gill Clarke Scholarship of the Leverhulme Trust.

    Dancing the Universe Within

Will lead us to dance our embryological beginnings, explore the journey from vibration to form, our cellular breathing and the dance of the layers of our physiological and energetic being in relationship with the world around us."

Anna Hewitt is a wilderness guide, artist, midwife, Rebirther, Yoga teacher, Eurythmist and somatic educator and a passionate practitioner of contact improvisation. Her life has offered a rich and eclectic mix of pursuits, experiences and learnings. She has explored a path of deep inquiry into how to dance fully as a human in relationship with the world and non-humans. She profoundly believes that the natural world can guide our dance and help us humans to live in innate wholeness - with ourselves, each other, and the whole cosmos. She has worked in the field of nature-based transformational development for over 20 years. Her adult life has been in service of creativity, the dark sacred feminine and the unborn. She feels incredibly privileged to accompany those crossing Mystery's thresholds and seeking to embody eco-centric somatic living.
